Sample Phone Greeting Scripts

Do you ever wish you could find a template for your business phone greeting?

One where you can drop in the name of your company, relevant information, and get it recorded fast?

Hi, I’m Stephanie Murphy, PhD. I’m a professional voice actor, and during my career I’ve voiced thousands of voicemail greetings. My voice is popular for phone greetings because of my friendly and professional sound.

Here are some of my phone demos.

My clients hire me again and again because I understand that when a customer calls your business, the voice they hear greeting them is very important! It sets the tone for the entire interaction – and first impressions count for a lot.

Think about what happens when you call a business.

  • You may have a question or concern on your mind. In fact, you could be starting out feeling pretty angry or annoyed!
  • You might also be confused, and you are calling to straighten out an issue. You want some brief reassurance, and then you want to talk to a person as soon as possible.
  • Or, maybe you’re calling because you want to schedule an appointment, or find out more information.
  • You definitely want to feel like your call matters and that you are valued as a customer.

The way your customer experiences your phone greeting can make a big impact on them! It’s my job to make sure they have a positive experience.

Many of my clients are looking for script templates for their phone greeting. I’ve developed a few open-source phone script templates over the years. I hope these will help you get started with yours!

Please feel welcome to choose the backbone which matches your business most closely, and then modify it with your own information.

If you’d like to work with me on recording your phone greeting, jump down to the bottom – you can contact me right through this post.
